The KPD is a fully functional QWERTY keypad that is used when programming the system from any display module. The KPD mounts directly to the front of the cabinet and attaches to the Virtual Panel Module (VPM) or Standard Display Module (SDM) by a ribbon cable.

The KPD is offered for installations where immediate access to system programming functions may be required.

The keypad (KPD) can be added as an option to the IPF and IPF-XL distributed cabinet lines or with all of the pre-configured systems (see Data Sheets 1045 and 1050).

If no KPD is available, any standard USB enabled wired or wireless keyboard may be attached to the system through either of the two integral USB 2.0 Type A ports located on the VPM and on all SDM’s attached to the system.
